Wearable Art

This is an exploration of methods of assemblage, working with "found objects", the power of repetition and an introduction to using the body as a vehicle for artistic expression. Changing Personal space, spatial issues, and body distortion.
The human body is what we all use to judge scale it is the most recognizable form in our world. I want you to think about ways to disguise, and or change the human form through the use of wearable art. Distorting scale, color, shape, and texture, of what we perceive to be normal body parts can be done using armatures, cloth skins, repeated forms, padding, and many other techniques. Consider how we interact, move, rest, communicate, eat, commute, and live.

Please consider scale, transport, durability, visibility, weight

, movement, safety, and any other thing that may make wearing the art more comfortable.
